Empowering Latinas through Education, Scholarship & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

What we stand for

tHE  HISPANIC SEAFAIR ORGANIZATION (HSO) is a Volunteer run organization, that started in 1980 with the intention to unite our Hispanic/Latino community & empower young Latinas to become leaders through Education, Community Service and Scholarship! You may know us for our yearly festival, that brings in over 25 vendors, numerous artists and between 6,000-10,000 people together to celebrate our cultures and the beauty of the diversity within our community.

In addition to our yearly festival, every year we also select one deserving role-model in the community as our "Queen", Miss Hispanic Seafair, based on her academics, community involvement, public speaking abilities and other essential skills. She's awarded with an academic scholarship to continue her studies, and a year filled with networking and career opportunities.

We do our best to be all inclusive of our fellow Latinos/Hispanics at our festival, and provide the best well-rounded training for all our candidatas in the scholarship program.

Your role WITH US

We invite you to join our team and help plan our festival, volunteer at our events or work with our scholarship program leaders to help our candidatas get all they can out of their growing years.
