Empowering Latinas through Education, Scholarship & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Dear Supporters,

On behalf of the Hispanic Seafair Organization, I want to thank you for your continued support for our festival and mission of providing young Latinas scholarships to further their higher education. Due to unforeseen circumstances and financial constraints, with careful consideration, we have decided to not move forward with the festival this year. We don't take this decision lightly as it is the first festival in 37 years that has been cancelled. We will be taking this year to restructure and reorganize the organization, it's goals, and fundraising.

Though we are unable to have our festival this year, we would still like to maintain our presence at Seafair, with a new Miss Hispanic Seafair to represent our community. We will be selecting one winner, from an online-only application. The application will be available online beginning April 1st. Requirements for eligibility remain the same. (click here for details)

Once again, we thank you for your support and participation in our annual festival. Please continue to look on our website for more info regarding our plans for 2017.
